Born March 23, 1924 in Pittsburgh, PA to Henry and Estella Hengstler died March 9, 2017 in Plano, TX

June was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend who lived to make others happy. Her favorite past-time was in the kitchen. Everything she made was from scratch and her chocolate chip cookies were infamous. Other specialties were brownies, cantaloupe pie, French Market soup, chicken fried steak and tuna salad sandwiches, to name a few.

June's other claim to fame was being a Women Marine in the United States Marine Corps during World War II. While stationed at Camp Lejeune, NC she met and married a fellow Marine, William "Raymond" Worsham from Tioga, TX. After both were honorably discharged in 1946, Raymond brought his bride back to Texas settling in northwest Dallas and raising six children.

A devout Christian who loved her Lord, June was a long-time member of Oak Lawn United Methodist Church where she taught children's Sunday school for over twenty years, worked as a volunteer in the office and served as president of the Ladies' Circle Bible Study.

June is preceded in death by her husband, parents and older sister Ruth Bram. She is survived by her six children: daughter Sandi Worsham; son Bob and wife Jo Ann Worsham; daughter Dale and husband Ted Isom; son Terry; daughter Cheryl and husband Bob Huelsman; and son Billy and wife Cyndi Worsham. She has two granddaughters, Kathy Femrite and Rebecca Huelsman; three grandsons, Bobby Ray Worsham, Tyler Worsham and Connor Worsham; one great-granddaughter, Asheley and husband Daniel Jackson; and one great-great grandson, Liam Jackson. She also leaves behind her extended family and friends.

Memorial Service will be one o'clock on Sunday, March 26, 2017 at Oak Lawn United Methodist Church.

In lieu of flowers, her wish was for donations to Oak Lawn United Methodist Church, 3014 Oak Lawn Avenue, Dallas, TX 75219
